Critical Note: This artwork is underdeveloped. I forgot to add the neck spikes, curved chin ledges, and canine ears as a result from being so exhausted @ 3 AM EST last night trying to paint this without stopping. Also, there's no stunning background either. Must fix it all.

To answer your question, friendship is a mutual caring between living things, willing to help and be there for each other in times of need, to enjoy happiness together, to endure hardships together. Maybe not always physically, but a friend is someone who helps you. Someone who is someone that you will be alive tomorrow for because you care about them, and they care about you. If suddenly shit hits the fan and they ditch you, they're not a true friend. If you let them vent to you, but when you vent back they turn away, they are not a friend. There are many great people in this world, but there are also the trash. Quality friends are better than having a bunch, or so I've found. I hope this helps you, I'm sorry if this is all just bumbling. If you need a hug, just say the word.
Also the art is beautiful. Honestly I can't tell if you're being serious or just being "in character" for the art...
