No but he took me forever to beat. I'm still not that good at Dark Souls yet but it is extremely fun to scream at my computer.

And he just sits there and taunts me as I fail to get past Smaugh and Ornstein to get his armor which is why I fought him in Anor Londo in the first place.

Took me quite a few tries to take down the duo myself, but I managed to kill Lautrec on my first try.
Going to need to revisit the game soon, perhaps once I'm down with DSII and when they switch it over to Steam rather than GFWL.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed by DSII, but it's not -bad-, I just prefer the first. I like the characters and lore of the first, haha.

I heard that they are not actually getting rid of GFWL, which is a shame because it is garbage.

I do think many did prefer the original game's lore, but I actually do rather like that of two, once you start getting into it, and it's really supplemented well by the DLC. That being said, I do think it suffers by most "western" audiences because it is rooted in more Eastern themes, particularly that of never-ending cycles.

Nah, it was rumored they would, then rumored they wouldn't, but as of the twentieth this month they announced that they are going to switch it over to Steam, and you can actually tell by the fact that there are steam achievements now.

I think the characters really won me over in the first game. They were all very memorable, and it kind of felt like you only got to see a small part of an interesting story that was their voyages through Lordran. I kind of get the lore of the second one, it just doesn't interest me as much, unfortunatley.

That's what those were, hm? I was wondering why I was sitting here with no achievements when I saw the list of achievements on my Steam. Like, yes Steam. I went on playing this game for 105 hours and never acquired an Estus flask ever.
