A conversation with a friend of mine the other night had me thinking. In fact, gosh darn it all (why did I have to think), it kept me up all damn night! I lay on one side of the futon. I lay on the other side of the futon. I rolled my sleepingbag out on the floor; I finally fell asleep after three hours, but three hours after that I realized why I don't sleep on the floor (it sort of hurts). So I relocated back to the bed. In total: 5 hours of sleep. Ha! Some of you must be thinking I'm lightweight. Well, yeah, when it comes to missing sleep I've a low tolerance.
Anyway. What the fuck was I gonna tell 'em man? Oh yeah.
So I was thinking about this creature all night, this creature born from the sludge of the swamp that wears a plague mask, has long noodle-y arms somewhat resembling avian wings, a thin bulbous tail (though it seems I've decided on a more edgy look), and DEADLY HUGS.
No, like, yall don't hear me when I say this motherfucker has a deadly ass hug
I'm talking like, vore hugs, like it hugs you and it squeezes you so damn hard you end up inside it, y'know? Then, I'm playing with the possibility that it can assume the form of the prey it devours (limited to the first catch) . . . so, so, let's say if this motherfucker caught a gryphon. Well, then, it would assume a form mimicking the gryphon save for color and body composition. Also: This creature's plague mask would be worn over the face of its captured-prey form.
I hope any of that makes sense. If 2% of you guys read my rant I'll be cool with that. This was gonna be a complete picture, but I'm not completely comfortable with how to draw this yet. It'll be a new species. So bear with me . . . this is some b.s., some scrap-worthy, aight Imma wrap it up.
