It was the breeze ruffling her fur that woke her from her sleep. Ironic really that something so soft and subtle had made her stir from her slumber considering what greeted her when she opened her eyes.
It took her brain several seconds to comprehend just what she was staring at. Her paws, bound, in thick pink mittens, just beyond her paws the distinct plastic of her wet exposed nappy. The summer breeze ruffled her pink tinted fringe and her head shot up.

She wasn't in Wens house anymore! She was outside. She had been on a playdate with wen, the two of them had coloured in pics and watched cartoons and eventually star, happily in little headspace had fallen asleep purring on the soft rug on the living room carpet.

Panic and fear thrilled through her as she bristled enough to rock the oversized baby buggy she was being pushed in. Damn her heavy sleeping!
"Hey! Lemme out!"
Her voice urgent but not a shout, she was acutely aware now that they were at a zoo and it was fairly busy with parents and children going from one enclosure to the next.

"I'll let you out in a minute kitten, once I get you and my little bunny to the baby changing facilities, you're both soggy little girls"
Star tried to crane her head back far enough to see kiama, she recognised his voice but the baby buggy canopy kept him obscured from view. She swore quite audibly then tugged at the restraints for a few moments before concluding that it was indeed futile. She slumped back into her padded buggy prison muttering death threats.

Star looked over at wen, the girl as equally soggy as star was, was sat whimpering beside the lynx. The pair of them locked eyes for a second then recognising each other's predicament, blushed in unison.

"look mummy those babys are really really big"

star heard a child exclaim in a loud voice. Her ears flattened and she desperately wanted to hide her bright blushing face in her paws but bring strapped down as they were she was unable to hide from the situation. Perhaps she could pretend to go back to sleep that way at least she wouldn't catch people staring at the scene.

Star made a vow to sleep lightly or not at all next time she went to visit wen and kiama as the buggy moved ever closer to the changing facilities.
