Yesterday i was swimming on a place in Vienna called "old Danube" (Alte Donau). It was formerly a part of the Danube but after some regulatings of the danube in the 1890s and later in the 1970/80s that sidearm of the danube went death.

Anyway now its a nice place for swimming, there were a lot of swans there, but two years ago they said that one swan died on H5N1... so they had to kill all swans for no reason... i guess it was only a lie so they had a reason to kill them, cause why they only killed the swans and not also the ducks... it makes no sense for me...

Anyway this is the first swan family i saw since 2006, so welcome back to vienna swans :D
