"WTF you doing on my back?"

I hated the film. Even in this picture, Saphira should have spikes all the way down her back... And she never had feathers on her wings... The book describes that she has a "thin membrane" for her wings. And The story of the film is completely different to the book. If a director is going to make a film on a book, STICK TO THE F**KING STORY!

I did not hate it, but i was disappointed in the film. The major thing i did not like about Saphira's rendering was the wings. From what i understand the directer wanted to make the movie different than it is, but the budget restriction forced him to do it this way.That and the studio also demanded a shorter run time than the director wanted as well. I blame the restrictions placed on the director more than anything.
one of thier posters even showed saphira rendered a bit more true to a dragon from the inheritance series. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1480947/ if you look you can see that she has the neck spikes in this image.
If they make another one they should get peter Jackson to make the movie then it will be done much better.

It's to bad they didnt render the flick as the book was. The book took a better pathways than the film itself.

However I think your right, the restrictions placed on the director and whatever storyboard was green lighted by the studio itself is what had to be done.

Still, over all it wasn't a bad film persay, it had one mother fuckin sexy dragon in it and occasionally you saw her from under the tail, if I recall
