Is World Osteoporosis Day apparently =O
A friend last year poked me about it, but I had been entirely unawares, so, this year I resolved to have something drawn for it, just something small, while also giving me an excuse to draw Jeri again as her cat-self~
It's been a good many years since I got diagnosed formally, and before that a lot of folks certainly had considered that I may have had the condition with my fairly impressive collection of medical dossieres, but whether it's Jeri brushing off on me or just being more careful, I think this year has been - knock on wood - one of the most peaceful I've had in a while for injuries actually =o
It's something I do say I'm thankful for each year when it comes to Thanksgiving that I know there are a many people with the condition far worse off than me, that at least I'm somewhat under control thanks to medication and regular medical checkups and attention.

There are a lot of different charities that support the various forms of Osteoporosis across the world organisation, usually you can find lots of different smaller charities for different areas of the US alone
