This is a short story I wrote about my first few days deployed in the "Red October" bushfires of 2013, the original plan was to make it cover the whole two week deployment but unfortunately life got in the way....I have changed it up a bit by replacing a few elements of the story around (i.e. I have made the characters animals based on their personalities)
