Bling’s Family Dinner Part 2

Ben “Bling” Glinteyes did what he always did when life decided to throw him on of its little curve balls, trying to plan things out. He had just broken even with another one of the students in a battle when he had a large surprise with his family appearing on campus. Bling had written his family for advice about the Muma’s having one of their own at P.C.A but he hadn’t thought that his own grandfather would make a trip to visit him, the old man hadn’t left the Johto regions for years.

That made Bling worry..alot. Although he loved his grandfather with his heart and soul he had no illusions about him, he was a deceiver and manipulator. The fact that one of the most notorious ghost gangsters would leave his base of operations so abruptly meant to Bling that he had been planning this for a long time. What just did this mean? His grandfather had never shown any resistance to his plans to leave the “family business”. So why had he now just shown up? When things did not add up it made Bling very nervous and being nervous in the Glinteyes family could be a very bad thing.

Across campus Ms. Morgue was in a near panic following the snippets of conversation that she had heard from the gangsters that had invaded the Pokemon Combat Academy. Methelza Muma could be in grave danger and she had to find her quickly. After a quick check of the school’s schedule she found out that Methulza was currently in Ms. Jiggle’s music class. As the spiritomb reached the classroom she breathed a quick sigh of relief, Methelza was safe, she looked around for the members of the Glinteyes Gang. She couldn’t see the pair of crook that had come out to “play” but she would keep an eye out and get Methelza out of danger quickly as possible.

Bling quickly and quietly walked back to his room in the Ghost Tower with his family now in tow, he had noticed that both his Uncle Cutter and Caws where gone but at his grandfather’s subtle nod had decided to let the issue drop. As he walked into the dorm he turn his attention to his mortal sister, the young vesipqueen seemed to be awestruck by the large PCA campus.

“What the matter princess, you’ve been a little to silent since you arrived here.” Bling commented.

“Oh I’m just thinking about the little surprise that I have waiting for you at dinner.” The bug girl said with a giggle.

“Now now little queen you promised to keep it all under wraps until we got some food into Bling.” Three Gems commented as he put his arms around his two children.

“I’m not going to like this surprise am I am gramps?” Bling said as they enter the Ghost Tower dorms.

“Oh it’s a nice surprise, now hurry up and get dressed in your good clothes Ben. As I said we will have much to discuss over our dinner. I have reservations at one of the best restaurants in town so I want you too look your best.”

Bling sighed as he entered the dorm to change into his nice clothes; once his grandfather was set on a course nothing could change his mind. He would just have to wait and see what the big surprise was, if his sister was excited about it then it wouldn’t be to bad.

“Just what is the problem that is so serious that you have to escort me to my next class Ms. Morgue?” An irate Methelza asked as the two ghosts floated down the hallways of the Academy.

“This is just a slight precaution Ms. Muma, we’ve had some reports of some unusual characters on campus and we are simply taking some precautions.” Ms. Morgue explained.

“And why should I be concerned with some unusual characters Ms Morgue? What are you trying to hide from me?” An even more irate Methelza asked.

“Why what would make you think that I’m hiding anything, oh shoot.” Ms. Morgue moaned as the pair turned the corner and Billy “Cutter” Glinteyes was sitting in a chair with a laptop balanced on his lap. The sableye looked up at the pair with a sick grin.

“Hi wanna play hehehehe?” The ghost began to giggle madly at them, his ruby eyes gleaming with a mad desire.

Ms. Morgue and Methelza both dropped back into fighting stances, Methelza’s chains unraveling from her arms and her eyes glowing a dark violet at her enemy. The pair of ghost readied for battle a firm voice cawed out from behind them, “Now is that really necessary?”

The pair turned and behind them the houncrow Caw had them surrounded. But as the two ghosts prepared for battle they where surprised when Caw simply walked past the pair and to the still giggling ghost behind them and guide him toward an exit.

“Come along Master Billy I have the forms that Master Gerald wanted, it seems that he was quite correct about the current administration being open to new possibilities.” Caws said as he usurer the sable out of the building.

Ms. Morgue breathed a quick sigh of relief as the two mon left the building as she turn although she was confronted by a grim looking Methelza who has a completely un-amused expression on her face.

“Ms. Morgue care to tell me why these..mon are in the academy?” Methelza asked with an irrate tone.


“Well Ms. Muma it’s like this.” Ms. Morgue said as she began a long explanation.


Bling walked toward the family limo dressed in his finest suit, it was a rare occasion that his family went out to eat together. It was rare that they ever even left house all together back home. For the whole family to go out together was not only funny but reeked of set up. What was going on and why did he feel so uncomfortable when his grandfather mentioned plans. The sable eye sighed round and round it went when would it all end, would he, could he ever be free of all the lies and innuendo?

“Stop it Ben keep a hold of yourself.” Ben thought to himself. “You’ll get your answers and then you will deal with them just like always.” It was a grim looking sableeye that entered the back of the limo for a family dinner.

“Willy “The Sparkle” Glinteye looked at his faithful servant Caws as the prepared to enter the limo for dinner, “Did you gain the information we needed?”

“Of course sir,” Caws answered. “We will be able to meet our goals for the immediate future.”

“And the other information?”

“It was ridiculously easy to gain information on her with a few bills, she is very unpopular with the other ghosts. I have already passed the information gained to our specialist.” Caws answered with a distinct sneer.

“Good now lets go have our family dinner and start Ben on the road to success.” Willy answered with a pleased expression.
