Crab: "So what do you want to do, Mantis?"
Mantis: "The same thing we do whenever we can, Crab -- watch Yawg draw porn!"

How do these things start? Usually by someone taking an idea and "running with it" longer or farther than necessary.

In this case, I picked up on a small crab and praying mantis that appeared in three pictures commissioned by  Sura-Resch from  Yawg (as follows): ONE, TWO, THREE. I doubled-down by having them take center stage as anthros.

This is my follow-up; a mantis finger puppet and plush crab that I can take around and photograph in... just about anything where I don't risk losing them, really. They'll join a few other small plushes I can do this with (a fox, a bat, and a blue gecko).
