Nope. Completely unexpected.
But this isn't the big reveal, just another notch up on the "horrible meter". This cute terror is here to dispose of kids who get too nosey or try to escape, not the reason they are brought here in the first place.
So, it's big (in more ways than one), but I'm going to stay with my prediction. Six pages to go.
Oh, and one more thing: "DON'T JUST STAND THERE STARING AT IT, YOU IDIOTS! RUN!"
