It's not a professional camera, but it was the top recommended point-and-click from Consumer Reports, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LF1. I love it, I can take it out of its case and it's ready to shoot before it's at my eye level, and does quite well under all sorts of weird lighting. Thanks!
