Lookit that cute foxy smile, head and ears back, smiling with his cute fluffy face, just enjoying his life and showing his love to his owner and those, my other friend and I. We visited him and was just so so happy and cute! Such a loving little fluffy foxy!!

I know in my state (Wisconsin) we have this dumb/odd law where if a wild animal lives with you it cannot be inside a residence occupied by people unless it's being nursed back to health, otherwise it has to be outside and in a cage.
Not sure if that applies to the Russian Domestic Foxes though O.o

There are very little to any differences behaviorally from so-called domesticated foxes than from ranch-raised foxes as they end up being pretty much the same. Most states don't recognize them as being domesticated. You're better off going through a USDA breeder, but Washington's fox laws are confusing. Utah allows red foxes, as does Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, to name a few.
I don't know, from what I've seen of the Domesticated Foxes, they act almost entirely like dogs. I am sure states haven't recognized this, but I've seen some key behavioral differences between wild and "domesticated" foxes. Though, the only experience I have with a "wild" fox was very pleasant, he grew up on a fur farm but was saved and despite his history he was extremely docile and friendly.
Still, I'd feel safer with a "Domesticated" one than a supposedly wild one, I dunno :O

The ones I work with, are not wild but are tamed. There are very few genetic differences between them; a lot of people expect domesticated foxes to be easy. They are not and are still foxes, as such, they require tremendous care. The foxes you get here are raised the same way as they are in Siberia; the difference is the pricing. It's also illegal to keep a wild fox as a pet, they either need to be from a breeder, a fur farm or, well, Russia. I've been around foxes for what, two years about? While they can act like dogs, they won't be easy to care for.
