9" x 12" color pencil, Copic and micron pen. Gonna try some new paper and technique on her.
She will be an arctic fox but meh, I need to do more of these critters.
Yeah, definitely a mix of cultures and I will probably try to mix in more as I go. Hmmm, Celtic? :) Gonna see what culture I can add from the arctic.

Been struggling with the Background on my zebra piece.It's coming along but I had to take a breather and sketched this late a couple nights ago at the spur of the moment.
Ref'd the lotus position but they are pretty much all the same.

Looking good so far! The cross-legged lotus position from any angle for me has always been tricky (need to practice more with leg forshortening; my mind can't wrap around knees half the time for whatever reason) but I think as far as that goes you're doing well! I've been so busy lately so I haven't been able to offer more input with your work but regardless even when I don't comment, it's always a delight to see your art in my inbox.
Now she looks more Vulpine than Procyonid. For arctic cultures, check out the Tlingit tribes of western Canada (start with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tlingit ). I have a friend who is Chilkat Tlingit, but he went back up North and I haven't heard from him in a couple of weeks. The Tlingit have some startlingly beautiful woven fabrics; maybe you can 'weave' one into her image.
OOOooo... NICE. Yeah, maybe Celtic! I think you could blend that into the already quite native theme. Maybe have some kind of Celtic celestial scene in the background. You would look at it and be like, "Wait, what?" OH OH OH! SOMETHING SCIFI!! Like a spaceship or something! That would be so cool! Like the spaceship from "Missions End" or another one of your pieces!
