So. After a month and a half-long art block I've finally had the courage to attempt drawing again. After practicing a little bit before making a full picture, I decided to draw one of Canidae_Jedi's two 'sonas; Dark Violet. I'd draw his anthro 'sona since it seems to be his main but I simply cannot draw humanoids for the life of me.

The reason I did this was basically because he's my favourite artist now, and that somehow his art managed to inspire me enough to get back into drawing. This is kinda the branch between a thank-you and the fact that I love his 'sonas' designs and I wanted to draw them. x3

As for the art in itself, I tried a completely new style of shading since cel is both tedious and painful for me to do. I decided to shade in purple instead of red for once, as the red ruined some of the colours and the purple brought them out. I hope this style of shading doesn't look too bad to everyone. I also have a new signature I'm signing my pics with.

Anywho, I hope I didn't mess up hir anatomy or colours that much. I've never done art for other people except close friends before so this was a first. I hope that, despite any errors I made, you like it!
