More fodder for the 100-theme meme on DA (http://quaidezmaster.deviantart.com/journal/18811650/). This theme is Innocence.
And for innocence I did a digital painting of a ghost girl (For some odd reason, it can't just be a regular child with me... NO! It has to be a ghost child.). This was a pretty experimental, in that it's one of the few digital paintings I've done (well... it started out as linework and shading, but it evolved into digital painting). Also it's one of the few times I've drawn a child. CHILDREN ARE STUPIDLY HARD TO DRAW WITH THEIR CHILDLY CHILD PROPORTIONS! >:C

Actually, I think a ghost child would likely stay innocent forever, so there you go. Vindication, that is. Because, you know, innocent forever is the ultimate innocence. And the theme is innocence, so you win, right? With a new world record at that!

They are! I think part of the reason is that when you first learn to draw people, you learn how to draw the standard adult, and in life drawing classes you always use adults as models (for very obvious reasons) and so you get used to drawing adults and their proportions.
I know! But, I can assume being a ghost might cause problems in terms of playing catch.
