How did I miss this? Musta been otherwhere.
My dad has a 1922 DWM civilian 9mm. Is a joy to handle and shoot.
I almost -but didn't- bought a 1934 S/42-K luger a few years back. It was made, yes, by DWM/Mauser in that 1st year of Nazi Grmany, in defiance of the versailles treaty. . I am still kicken my butt for letting that slide by me, it was a rare GREAT find.
But hey yeah, if you get a chance at a range with one o these, its a pleasure. Best I can offer is a session with my 1942 Walther P38. Not a bad gun, either.
