It's a terrible thing - a down right travesty;
that few still partake in the majesty,
or indulge in the thirsty work,
of being a twelve story jerk -
By showing you mean what you say;
That getting them drunk is not merely wordplay.
By dunking little people into a drink mix,
Or guzzling them down whole to get your fix;
But alas, far too many would rather sip,
While little companions tentatively grip,
the side of a bottle, or the edge of a glass,
and hope your lips they shall not pass.

It's just a matter of practice, so the more you write the better you'll get, and your short stuff is already pretty good I'd say.
