Finally got around to digging around in my storage unit for some of my supplies. Still trying to figure out a relay switch so it only turns on when it's in contact with the ground, but so far it's awesome anyway.

This is just 3m of EL wire and an inverter from Sparkfun. Cost about $15. I'm going fancier, so my end cost will be about $25.
