Yet another Ferrari F40 drawing. Then again the F40 is a car that was then and still now something of an influence and obsession, and a bit spurred on from playing GT5, but more as of late in GT6.
They say to 'don't meet your hero' as Top gear has stated, as a number of us tend to idolize and put on a pedestal cars that, will seldom reach what impossible standards we've put.
That and the reality seldom stands up to the fantasy, but that being said, the F40 is still a damn solid machine. Although I don't know if I can quite buy into the 'large go-kart', but it still has quite the agility.
But it's also tail happy due in part to the boost threshold and torque.
I'm going to when I have the time, drive it until I can understand it from top to bottom, and do some changes to make it a more sharper beast.
At least that's the plan but given priorities, I'm starting to view plans as just 'a list of things that never happen' but that's a ramble.
Artwise, why you've been seeing more traditional stuff than digital is because I'm trying to make better traditional pieces so they can be better basis for digital stuff.
We'll see where that leads.
