Crouching Tiger, reading Crow
This pic was sort-of-a speed drawing for me to break up routine and do something new for a change, and was inspired by the user AlphonseCrow on SoFurry.
We talked how avian characters are somewhat of a minority in a sea of canines and felines and horny foxes, and how his sona would look like in Asian Wushu-inspired clothes. I also tried to do something artsy and yet simple with the background that vaguely reminds of autumn, leaves, and all that jazz

I only got a few comments in this case -
The crow's face looks a little dully rounded, the paw-talons look a teensy bit weird, the clothing wrinkles look courageous but a bit overworked, and as a rule of thumb, backgrounds don't look very interesting when elements are placed at perfectly regular intervals (but props for making them bigger as they went down, that takes quite a bit of the curse off).

I can see what you mean; maybe giving him some cheeks would've improved it? As for the hands and the clothe wrinkles, I drew them quickly in an attempt to shut out too much thinking and pondering, I guess that shows in a way. The background was meant to be abstract and artsy, you just have to ask me 'what it means' XD As always, I appreciate your opinion
