I agree wholeheartedly. Sucks what people do to them and then when good people come around wanting to try and pet the animal, it has so much distrust that it'll either back away or attack. In the case of the blue front amazon at work, he'd try and nip ya. I do think I managed to still have one of his loose feathers around here somewhere.
