"This car started its life as a police car back in 1955. As the years wore on and the miles racked up, it was sold at auction and was a real mess. Thats when I, Carmine Lugg "Nut" broughther home, and stripped er, and sanded er, and really overhauled er into this."
This project did start as a police car, but was really sloppy. So i tore it down and started over. I really had to muster all of the skill i could realish... (food puns) in geting the paint lines just right. for that, i used Scotch Blue painters tape, and cut it with a hobby knife around the trim i wanted chrome, after using a chrome primer. Then i masked the whole front end, save for the hood, and painted the body, via rattle can (Krylon Gloss Black). Lastly i brush painted the front end (Testors Flat Red) which i used on the rims aswell. I didnt touch the frame or chassis at all. The interior was a red on black to match the exterior, and the motor was pulled from a junk kit that used to be a NASCAR. Also my intentions is to make this a Friday Night Tech (radio show on the web) triubute car, hence the red and black paint scheme
