And here it is. The first beta hardcover copy of Werewolf Tale.

This arrived at my door yesterday, and how great it feels to hold my work in-hand, in this format, and look over every bit of it is incredible;  Eskiworks's artwork completes it, no question.

However, like beta releases of video games, this copy has a number of faults on display that I need to iron out before the final publication date.

The most obvious is on display on the right side of this collage. When I opened the book for the first time, I found fifty or so percent of the pages were left unprinted. Ouch.

I would assume it has to do with uploading the file as a PDF, since I’ve had issues with Adobe’s software and formats in the past. Some on Lulu’s forums have suggested uploading a .docx file instead, which is what I plan to do next after getting a subscription to Office 365 and reformatting the draft to Word from Kingsoft Writer.

- Current Plans for Publication -

While that is going on, I am preparing to start a sole proprietorship publishing company for Werewolf Tale and all my future works. (Taxes and Liabilities are the most pressing things to look into concerning this idea.)

‘Renegade Publications’ is the name I’ve chosen, unless it turns out someone else is using the name in such a way that I can’t do so. (Doubtful, but never know.) Either way, I’m currently thinking of ideas for the logo for this company and I hope to have it on display before the official publication date, and in the final copies.

- Second Copy-Edit -

Angi has finished the second copy-edit, and I should have it back by the end of this month. Likely won’t have to edit as much as before, though I’m not banking on that much.

- Second Updated Chapters/EPUB Release -

As I promised before, once the second copy-edit is finished, I’ll be posting even more of the nearing-completion draft in PDF and EPUB for everyone’s reading pleasure.

- NaNoWriMo 2014 -

I will be taking part in this year’s NaNoWriMo, and like before, posting what I come up with every other day; I’ll continue working on Werewolf Tale II and Magician’s Tale where I can.
