Kayko hadn't grown up with the idea of being a macro himself. And in fact he only discovered his growth powers one day when he was 18, after a particularly emotional nightmare triggered the growth. At the time he was already living on the outskirts of the city, so fortunately the only damage was to his own home(which was an empty house he'd be squatting in anyway).
Unfortunately for the hybrid, however, he soon attracted the attention of hundreds of onlookers and was forced to flee the city. He hid in the country for a bit of time after that, trying to escape the world and isolate himself.

Have you thought of him getting a job? (Don't take it as it sounds X3) One thing that I haven't seen with macros is that they are an awesome labor force as miners. Specially digging through mountains, canyons and relatively inhospitable ares and mine out coal, ores, precious stones. I could imagine mining and oil corporations hiring Macros for mining jobs. And shipping, moving and stacking cargo containers, going into the water and physically moving boats, cruse ships, tankers and freighters through the busy harbors. Also deep sea driving, helping oil companies guiding their drills down to the deepest depths too. Those are some sources of income for macros :3 Just a thought ^^
Oh yeah, I've thought about that before. I actually did a picture awhile back on the subject, with a macro moving a house. I hadn't thought about macro employment in terms of other jobs though. Its an interesting idea and I'll definitely explore it. Thanks for the comment
