so yeah, got the idea to use one of my spare Arduino Uno's to make a bass guitar effects thingie. Was alot of research, trying stuff out, and creative programming to boost the Arduino's DSP capabilities but i managed!
Trick was mostly to directly change the registers, customize the interrupts so it can output PCM audio through the ISR and shutting off prescaling. This resulted in an input rate of around 38 Khz and an output rate of 8 Khz, which can be upscaled to 16 Khz.

The input and output buffers are still missing here, though i'll probably won't put an input buffer on here, because i'm using an active bass which already has a build-in preamp (and thus acts as a buffer). I will put an output buffer in it however to protect the Arduino.

Not sure what kinda effects i'll program in there. I still have several RAM chips and an SD-card shield so maybe i'll use those for some cool delay, sampling etc. effects. Otherwise it'll probably will be all sorts of retro lo-fi guitar raep :P
