The plot thickens, or at least thickens more than it has so far. I'd attribute the slow pace up to this point to two things: the need to establish places and characters, and the fact that I haven't really written all that much yet. But I'm getting close to one of the major milestones I established for myself from the start.

I'd also like to thank you if you've read through to this point. This is by far the most work I've put into something for the least amount of positive reception from my fans, and it means the world to me that you were willing to take a chance on something so much different from my usual work in terms of tone, subject matter, and medium.
