Thank you! I actually am not too into the anime, but I LOVED that character. Very similar to how I envision Arun actually. The anime itself never showed enough of the action, and time between awesome action scenes were waaaayyyy too long and boring to keep me interested, lol :P
Close! Very similar design. It's Revy, from the Black Lagoon anime. She and Arun have a very similar... well everything, lol, but I didn't know that until someone else pointed it out to me and I watched some of the show. Here's a quick vid :P
Well, in that case, you probably won't be much of a fan of my eventual comic, because there will definitely be a scenes like that :P But that's fine, I know it's a little.. gratuitous.
Actually, I just finished watching Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade. It was very good, but EXTREMELY violent in a few scenes... those machine guns they have are seriouis business. Here's the main character, just so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about without having to watch it.

Oh god, more anime to watch. I have such a backlog right now, lol! I'm about to finish Sword Art Online 1, then I'll move onto the next. I watch one episode with dinner most nights, so the process is slow :P But thanks! I'll add that to my watch list! (Puts in bookmark folder titled :Anime Shows I Need To Watch")

It's from an anime, a fairly obscure one I think, called Black Lagoon. The anime itself is meh, but I really enjoy this one character named Revy. She's a lot like Arun actually, so I thought the costume fitting :P Regardless, thank you!
And yeah, I've always had issue with dragon characters wearing boots. Doesn't seem like it'd work too well to wear human style ones!

Lol, the Japanese language is weird that way. One of my friends had a Japanese exchange student for a while who spoke pretty fluent English.... Except that she would transpose her R's and L's. Not just mix them up sometimes, but literally every L was pronounced with an R sound and vice Vera. Even words that were of Japanese origin! She brought a movie from japan, it was spelled out in English as Ren, she said the correct pronunciation was Len.
