lolwell. While brainstorming for today's drawing, I thought about how much I missed the giant maple in our yard. It shed tons of the most beautiful leaves every year that naturally my sister and I made into piles to leap in. Sadly it had to be cut down because it started to die. Being so close to the house, the falling limbs became too dangerous. Such is life I'm afraid.

I used this challenge more as an excuse to practice shading with vibrant colors. Came out rather pretty I think, though I confess it's a lazy sketch at best. I've become so rusty with my tablet. x_x
