For those who are not warrior cat fans; Scourge is a villain in the first series. It isn't until later in the series we learned more about him. His past in particular before and during his leadership. As well as his relationships.
Scourge could've easily had been like Firestar, it's not like he didn't have the power or the determination to. But the authors really show that there is a VERY thin line between good and evil. It just depends on which side you feed into more. It becomes your definition, your future, and sometimes you become what you feared or dreamed of the most.
Note: I also really adore Tigerstar's craze face XD it's so funny. I had been debating on using Blackheart and Gladeshadow but I figured this fit me more then it did them.
