Bubblegum Comparison

Bubblegum 1, on the left, was my first fursuit EVER. She was completed in January of 2013. I learned a lot with this suit. But, she was really awkward to wear and had terrible vision. Great ventilation, because I made the mouth wrong XD Bodysuit was REALLY bad, and feet were unwearable.
Fast Forward to September 2014 (only about 20 months later), we have Bubblegum 2. My 10th fursuit head. Since then, I've gained a lot of skills, gotten more comfortable with a sewing machine, fur, and sculpting. She has seriously good vision (and everyone who wore her agreed) with almost 0 front blindspot and about 180 degree peripherals. The suit (despite the giant ears) is much more comfy to wear.
Overall, I am so impressed and proud of my advancement, and I know that my 20th head with be a million times better than where I am now. I cannot wait to continue making fursuits. Over RF weekend, so many makers shared tips and let me see their suits and understand how they made them. I am so grateful to those people.
Onwards to more fursuits!

I'm thinking to start trying to make some?
What skills should I have going in?
Do it.
I say have a fair understanding on hand stitching. Maybe make a few plushies first, because the procedure is similar. A common strong stitch among makers is the blanket stitch. If you ever need help, let me know! <3
Thank you so much, that means a lot <3
Thank you!! <3
You've come so far dude!! :> Can't wait to see what's in store for the future!
Thank you, I can't wait either!
