oh gosh no...I would have passed out within the first hour. lol I just wore the tail. It was like 90 something outside.

although I really wanted to wear it all really badly. maybe here when it cools down to like 70 somethin, then maybe I can talk all the local furs into going along.

oklacon is really cheap too, only like 30 bucks for all 5 days and you get 2 meals a day and free lodging in the a-frames.

well, it's my first tiger tail. I've made a lion tail and a clouded leopard tail before. But this is also the first one that I had put a wire into.

Yeah Zoo was fun! A lot of people liked the tail actually, little kids were like ooh! The only real idiot was some plebe in the parking lot. Oh well, mundanes are dumb sometimes.

I will have to find the gold fur online somewhere, I've looked at the stock at all the local fabric stores and they all have shite when it comes to colors. If you by chance know where your tail fur came from I could ensure that it will match better.

is it the color of that tail on the right? or is it darker than that? the tail in that pic just seems almost yellow and not gold to me.

It looks great, man! :D The curved effect makes it look really nice, and it actually gives it a bit of realism, since tigers tend to keep their tails curved like that. Great job! :D

Aww man, I wish I had seen it at the zoo! We used to have a family membership and we'd go at least once a week- sometimes as often as 5 days a week. But, since our membership expired a few months ago, we haven't had the money to renew it or the time to go, so I haven't been out in a while. :/ Would've been cool to see this tail for real, though! Are you going to wear it if you go to AFW?

Really nice. The costume doesn't look all mascot-ish and bulky. It actually looks appealing and realistic in an anthropomorphic way.

It would be awsome to see someone use hollywood makeup prosthetics as a realistic fursuit. You know how Tim Burton did Planet of The Apes? He should have done Planet of the Tigers!
