Thiiiiis, was a lil self-indulgence

I mentioned a while back I got into  Kyell Gold's work in Out of Position, and delved a lil deeper, finding a friend with Waterways, and having heard how positive it has been in helping a lot of teens get a steady ground with learning their sexual identity I thought it was worth a read

Suffice to say I was hooked, and also encountered one very feisty character within the pages who I fell in love with, Malaya Bahar, I won't reveal too much, but she's had a hell of a rough time through the book, on page and unwritten, but all throughout, she's snarky, sharp tongued and genuine to a tee

She might cuss like Wolf on Wall Street at double speed, but she means well enough to the main character Kory, and I couldn't help rooting for her to get her own happy ending somewhere, and was happy to see she got a great amount of spotlight to her own story

So, I just sat down and tried to doodle a little to imagine how she looked, still can't get her wings down though, in the book at one point she has to wear a cast and it seems her wing is kind of folded up inside with the arm, but I dunno, may need to look for more study on this, I do wanna do her some justice =o

Kinda hoping I can find more on her somewhere to boot hopefully!
But yeah, today was a little unproductive compared to what was hoped, but, it was nice to draw something for myself in between working on commishes and trades =D
