The last one of these 'Close Up' pics for now, and also the latest one I did :)
The concept is super simple: I wanted to get a better view of Charlie's footpaws so that I could learn how to draw them better, and the silly bear let me get close enough to tickle 'em ;) He should have really seen it coming with the feather, though... Eh, there's a good chance he's having as much fun with it as I am, then!
I really did want a better view of Charlie's feet since the last time I really gave them a shot was ages ago in that perspective piece with Kyle Dragon (http://www.deviantart.com/art/Relaxed-Perspective-150838129) I feel like I've improved since then, and this wasn't a bad way to see some progression myself :) Heck, in a way, this whole Close Up series has been me seeking improvement over this image.
This is probably my favorite of the series and the one I want to color first or possibly second after Benjamin. I really just like how it turned out, and I actually don't draw my fursona all that often compared to everyone else that I doodle in these situations. Besides that, Charlie's feet are probably some of my favorite among my cast just because they can be so big, expressive, and cute :P
Speaking of which, I still have some other doodles to post, but I'll try to stagger stuff so that folks don't get overwhelmed or annoyed ;)

It emulates quite well the lenses flaw of some cheap camera.
IRL, I try to find methods to remove (or at least quantify) these kind of blur in real images.
