When your world comes crumbling down around you, and that which you hold to be your rock begins to falter. What do you hold onto?

I feel much like a stuffed animal would feel to a child's nightmare, unable to do anything but bring the child comfort. Unable to change the situation and can only watch it all unfold.

The problems I've mentioned in my last journal go a lot deeper than the surface nutshell I talked about. However I've been asked to not talk about. So I won't, but I will draw it.

The once honorable elephant tricked his brother the gorilla into doing a business deal and lied to him about the elephant's company being okay, then the elephant took all the money from the business deal and sunk it into his sinking ship of a business. If the elephant doesn't pay back his brother the Gorilla... the Gorilla could lose everything he's ever worked for over the past twenty years. The Gorilla makes good money, but is on the hook for so many of the elephant's bills he can barely afford to live and feed himself and his son the wolf. The Gorilla is so sick with worry it's affecting him physically. The stuffed red panda is terrified the stress will give him a heart attack, as he is on both high blood pressure, and cholesterol medication.
The elephant's wife the Giant Panda is lazy, and refuses to work to help the elephant and ease his burden. The giant panda spends her days dreaming of getting pregnant over and over and watching reality tv.

The stuffed red panda, and stuffed snow leopard live in the elephant's old home and have a purchase agreement in place with the elephant. If the elephant declares bankruptcy the stuffed red panda and stuffed snow leopard will lose their home and all they have worked and sacrificed for for the past year.

But they are still better off than their father and the elephant's brother the gorilla.

THIS is why I'm not around as much, THIS is why I'm in a panic, and THIS is why my rock is crumbling apart.
