The Devolution of Nicktoons TV/Nicktoons/Nicktoons Network
Another Devolution pic, this time about the Nicktoons channel. Which launched in 2002 as Nicktoons TV.
I used to love this channel a lot, we did not receive it on our DirecTV package until early 2003 though. I mostly watched it when they had the awesome rotating splat logo, when i would stay up late with my little brother and we would watch together on weekends. Unfortunately, once the network rebranded in 05' as Nicktoons Network and the good nicktoons started vanishing. The beginning of the end started.
(Now, the channel is as lame as the main network.)

Yup, i watched it around that time too back when we had direc tv. When most of their schedule consisted of airing the older nick series, i think around the time they rebranded in 05' as nicktoons network was when it started to decline as they took most of the 90s nick shows off. Thank goodness for the 90's block on teennick!!!
