I like to imagine the soundtrack from the movie ‘Ravenous’ playing in this scene.

Also, as someone who actually works with kids during his day job, I notice that the children depicted in Guttersnipe/Firebrat are actually A LOT better behaved than real kids of that age. If I depicted kids accurately, they would literally just be screaming batshit nonsense throughout the whole story line, interrupting the narrative constantly to tell pointless stories about things that they’d seen during the day or some random episode of Phineas and Ferb. Kids are rotten little assholes is what I am saying.

I also had a strange revelation when I talked to a younger co-worker the other day who had no clue (A) who Bob Hoskins was or (B) that there existed a Super Mario Brothers movie. He was completely stunned to hear of its existance: “There was a Mario Brothers movie? Was it live action?”
