Since super-heroes have been on my mind a lot lately, it was time for a Marvel/DC crossover
In this case, Magneto duking it out with the dark knight, Batman himself. Will he be able to withstand the mutant superpowers of magnetism, being merely a rich guy with too much time on his hand, and therefore crimefighting out of boredom? See the epic conclusion in the next issue that will be released...never XD Anyway, Bruce Wayne being not only the greatest detective in the world, but also rich, he brought baterangs made out of gold to this fight, since gold isn't magnetic. Get it?
I've been studying classic dynamic comic-book poses a bit lately, and I'm quite happy with the composition in this pic. Also with how the gradients turned out. Still learning a lot about the business of comic artistry, but I would say this is another step of mine towards making this specific art form the center of my focus.

You're getting there! Nice reimagining, and it certainly looks like you've put effort into this (although the texture becomes monotonous). Of course, someone's going to notice how many excuses you have for people to just go around barefoot, but if it works for Joss Whedon...
Thanks Hehe, no way I was going to hide those nice feet with shoes
I noticed that super-hero characters in comic books always have that shiny lycra look that might as well be body-paint, save for a few fabric wrinkles here and there. That helps surely with the amount of drawing an artist has to do for an entire book, but there wasn't much to reference for me texture-wise.
In the movies Magneto is wearing the same dull black as any other X-Men, and would've been no contrast to Batman, so I went for the color scheme of the comic books, which sets him off nicely, I would say. For Batman I even looked at an actual replica intended for motor cyclists, but again only more or less shiny leather, plus those carbon-fiber thingies I incorporated. What kind of textures would you suggest for a super-hero outfit that would make for more variety?
