It's been 2 days I travel with Yuuril, he's a great friend. He agreed that I follow him along on his path. I see so much of the world around, without getting lost. I don't know how, but it seems like he always knows his way around. He never asks for a map, he just knows where to go. Today, we were on the road again, walking through the woods near a river.

"Does every members in your specie are fluffy as you?"

"Not always." Said Yuuril.

"But they must all be cuddly?"

"I guess." Said Yuuril.

"Can I sit on your shoulders?"

"No." Said Yuuril.

"Why?"

"Because I don't want to." Said Yuuril.

"But it would be so comfortable."

"You already asked me that yesterday." Said Yuuril.

"Oh yeah, sorry. Silly me. Hey, is that a lake over there?"

"It is. It's the source of the river." Said Yuuril.

"Can we go over there and see if there is any fishes."

"Are you hungry yet?" Asked Yuuril.

"Naa, I just want to watch them swimming in the water."

"Okay okay, we can stop there for a while." Said Yuuril.


Yuuril then sit near a tree and wait. I go near the lake and try to find some fish swimming inside. I see a fish. And another one. And another one. And then... a bigger mass swim in the water. It was swimming fast, chasing a fish. It seems to have caught one and he swims back to the surface, right in front of me. It was an Adrakinide.

"Hey oh mate. Want some fish? There is plenty in there." Said the adrakinide.

"No, thanks. I just wanted to watch them swimming."

"And they're my dinner. Tasty dinner." Said the adrakinide.

"I prefer fruits instead."

"Fruits are good for you, but like any good thing in life, don't abuse it." Said the adrakinide.


The adrakinide then get out of the water. He was a taller than me, a head taller. His tail was almost as long as his body. This and his webbed hands probably helps him swimming that fast.


"I didn't expect to meet someone out there." Said the adrakinide.

"I didn't expect to see something else than fishes in this lake."

"There is more than fishes in there. Don't forget the plants." Said the adrakinide.

"Yeah, well, I didn't think about them first to be honest."

"Don't overlook other life forms." Said the adrakinide, before ruffling my mane.

"Yeah, sorry. Can I ask you your name?"

"I'm Lance, Lance Darkwaters. And yourself?" Asked the adrakinide.

"I'm Altallo. There is Yuuril over there too. Hey Yuuril, I've found a new friend."


Yuuril waved at Lance.


"I should get dressed. I must get back on the road." Said Lance.

"On the road? To which place?"

"To town. I want to go to the library." Said Lance.

"Maybe you could travel with us."

"Hum? You're going to town?" Asked Lance.

"I'm travelling with Yuuril and he knows his way to anywhere. He could lead you to town."

"If you want to. I don't mind travelling with people."

"Wonderful."


I hug Lance. He hugs me back. It was a warm, yet wet, embrace.


"You should have let me dry up my scales. Your clothes will be wet now." Said Lance.

"Oh yeah, sorry."


Lance then grabs his clothes and get dressed up. Now he looks like an explorer.


"I had my meal, I'm dressed up and ready to go." Said Lance.

"I'm ready, Yuuril too, probably. Let's go see him."

"Hello Mr. Yuuril." Said Lance.

"Hello... mmm?" Said Yuuril.

"Lance, Lance Darkwaters. Nice to meet you." Said Lance.


Yuuril then step up to shake his hand.


"Altallo told me that you would travel to town. I'm heading there." Said Lance.

"So you want to come with us? This little guy asked me to bring him there." Said Yuuril.

"I don't mind travelling with people. More people means more fun on the road." Said Lance.

"Yay fun! Go forth Yuuril!"


I jump on Yuuril's back. He grunts.


"I told you that I didn't want to personally transport you." Said Yuuril.

"But you're so cuddly."

"I don't think you should make your friend angry." Said Lance.

"Whoops, sorry."

"Can we move on? I'm getting bored." Said Yuuril.

"Sure. I got everything I need." Said Lance.

"Let's go."


And then we're back on the road. With a new friend around. He's so friendly. I'm sure travelling with Yuuril and him will be fun.
