Well, got a graphite stick in my artist's packet for drawing class. This is one of the first things I tried out with it. :D
It's lovely for filling in wide areas with one value. :D And the tip can be shaved down and sharpened for good lines as well. Only issue is it is rather fragile--it will shatter into a million pieces if dropped or mishandled.
