This is both an example of a 'white' pendant and an example of a custom piece.
This piece was sterling silver (which I am capable of doing now!) and used a piece of shed from a customer's tegu.

Indeed! I very much enjoy making custom pieces like this. The woman that commissioned this, her tegu is just a baby (when they're babies, they shed like every week and grow like weeds, lol), and she wanted something lasting to wear to remind her of her lizard-baby. It's really awesome to hear stories about people's pets and be the person allowed to create lasting pieces like this.
black and gold...that had to be a columbian tegu, not an argentinian. The columbians don't tend to tame down very well once they're adults. Raised from babies...they can be pretty tame, but never as tame as the argentinians. columbians aren't bred in captivity very well, so they get the whole trauma of being trapped in the wild.
Argentinian black and white tegus make wonderful pets, when raised right. I've got a big boy and he's so tame. He loves people....he's a big fat lazy lump of a lizard most of the time, doesn't care about anyone or anything, except food, heating lamp and burrow, lol.
