16 submissions
Okay - here we go.
Short version: Run this thing and tell me if it lets you doodle on it. If you can doodle on it, try doodling on it with your tablet and let me know if it's pressure-sensitive (the line should get thicker when you mash down really hard).
Long version: This is a little program I wrote that checks to see if I can use the Microsoft.Ink assembly to get pressure-sensitive data from people who aren't running Tablet XP. If I can, then that makes things like a billion-million times easier for me to write some arty-type programs because I don't have to figure out how to coerce tablets to give up their sweet sweet pressure data.
Instructions:
1) Download the image to someplace on your computer.
2) Rename the image from a .png to a .zip (if you can't see a .png on the end of the submission name, then go into Tools->Folder Options and turn off Hide file extensions for known file types).
3) Open the .zip file and cue the Zelda "you found a secret" noise.
4) Run InkCheck.exe and it should pop up a little dialog box with more information.
5) Report back here with what happens!
Here's hoping I get replies! *crosses fingers*
