Devon & Me
Ordinarily a pic like this would be in scraps, but crikey, I need my own avatar here in my gallery.
So yeah, just an update.
Many of you may not know my personal avatar is the fox there, Kyle. I'd really love to switch my username here to KyleTakamoto, but I think the site admins have better things to do right now ^ ^;;; I love tigers, but a big bruiser like Cody doesn't match me very well in personality OR looks, so I finally purposely designed an avatar who IS me. Acts like me, does what I do, and is at least vaguely based on me (if I gained maybe another 20 pounds of muscle, I might look like that, too x.x) I like to call him the Uncute Fox; most foxes are bishie lithe little things, but I made Kyle with my stumpier body (viva la Asian genes ;-p), kind of a blunter muzzle, the heavy whisker-marking (I can grow a 5:00 shadow by noon), the thicker eyebrows.
And since my last boyfriend was a lying little twat, an update on THAT end too, though it's only recently official because we had to put off a real life meeting until last month due to schedule conflicts. Meet Devon, on the right. I'm trying to keep a low profile for him anyway, especially since he's (gasp) not a furry. But since I don't like drawing myself as a human, I figure if we were drawn together it'd be easier to draw him as a furry. So I made him into a husky. And yes, he's a big, solid, goateed guy who fixes things and loves flowers. I could gush more about him, but this is neither the time nor the place. But I wanted a semi-official posting of our avatars here.

Kyle's so not an uncute fox, they don't all have to be swishy things that would fly away at the slightest breeze XD I think the more realistically shaped form really carries well [hence having a headshot done of him :P.]
As far as changing your name goes I don't know if the admin can even do that, did you try making a trouble ticket and asking them? Or clicking the staff link and pm'ing them?
One option is to do what I and others have done and just make a new account. Then you can either empty this one and post up a journal, submission and icon saying you've moved and where too and reupload things to the new account. Or you can upload those three things here and leave everything and just upload new things to the new account.
