Concept sketch now actually sketched up and ready for inking. I'm worried the little sister is distracting but I think maybe it should be ok.

I don't think the little sister is TOO distracting, but maybe lower her head so all you see is her eyes, or her nose and eyes, rather than her whole head :3

I feel like then you won't recognize her too much, it would look a bit weird.

Ohhh, maybe. What if her hair were floating upwards instead of to the side? That might help, plus add to the feeling of her being surprised/scared (kinda like what Miyazaki does with his characters)

Hm, I'm not sure. Hair sort of just floats around rather then go in one direction unless moving. It's held down in some places due to the pigtails but I feel like floating around her as it is now fits best that way.
