Actually, the L-39 can be armed. The military version carries a twin-barrel 23mm Gsh-23 autocannon, and can carry a variety of unguided weaponry on hardpoints . . .

I think we dealt with them during peacekeeping ops in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Mostly a lot of posturing, I don't think we got into any A2A, but might have hit some with AAA.

Mostly they are ground attack, not designed for ACM.

Nah, sadly... nothin' that big this year, but I was very proud of the F-16 demo... wish I could've seen one up real close.

The biggest thing we;ve ever gotten out in the Boonies were the Blue Angels a few years back.

Got to see a full interiour of an F-15, and an insane demo of one... How the F-22 has anything above those beast beats me completely ('cept in a more jaw-dropping price >.<)

These L-39's are Czechoslovakian trainer (and I guess combat) jets.

They've been pretty modded out, though, so I'd say they're pretty unique.

Their show was done quite low, which made it real nice. I was actually bracing fro a crash of some kind. >_<
