Birthday candles not included :P
Ok so here's the cooked version of m'lil' birthday dinner steak that I treated m'self to... I'll even add m'recipe fer how I cooked it jus' in case any'a y'all wanna try cookin' one up this way.
ingredients:
1 top prime sirloin steak
seasonings:
Laurey's salt seasonings
Nature's seasonings
1tsp. olive oil
Moore's marinade
worchestershire sauce
garnishes:
several of the leafy cut ends from a package of celery
2 whole tomatoes
directions:
1.) pour a light dollop (probably bout a tblsp.) of olive oil in a large cooking skillet.
add dashes of the Moore's marinade an worchestershire sauce, swirl around in skillet fer full coverage then set on the burner at medium heat.
2.) remove steak from package an spread across large cutting board. Shake dashes of the Laurey's seasoning salt across entire surface of steak lightly. vigorously massage the salt inta the steak then turn steak over and repeat process on the other side then let sit for a few moments. Cut off the leafy ends from a package of celery stalks and slice up the 2 tomatoes for the garnish. arrange on the outskirts of platter as shown.
3.) place steak in skillet and turn occasionally, adding Nature's seasonings lightly as it cooks to yer preferences. Place cooked steak in the center of platter an serve.
The top photo is the steak by itself lain across the garnishes... the bottom is the same steak but drizzled with the excess marinade sauces ta give it that even juicier look.
...an there ya have it!
(an FACCC may omit this last part at their preference heh) but part of why I wanted ta cook an eat the biggest steak I have as of this date... was also because I wanted ta eat it the WAY I wanted ta eat it!... Even as we speak I am still eattin' on this huge steak while watchin' TV... with m'bare hands... liftin' it up ta take chunks outta it an occasionally munchin' on a leafy celery stalk an tomato... the celery actually makes fer a nice, bitter an crunchy taste sensation ta the succulent seasoned steak an the mild, juicy tomato makes fer a great palette-washing between steak an celery... esecially as ya dip an run the celery inta the steak gravy that may give ya a delightful surprise if yer feelin' up fer that kinda different taste sensation...
...an I am shamelessly lickin' m'fingers between alterations of the three an savorin' this like no other steak I have ever had b'fore cause I true finally got ta enjoy a steak privately without scrutiny... This full-bellied wuff's gonna be howlin' t'night!... so if ya try this I hope ya get as much enjoyment outta this as I did!
Aah Aah AahHROOOOoooOOOO!!!! :)
