Captain Flamingo is one of my strongest inspirations as a writer along with a handful of other shows, books, and other things. Seeing such a fun reference in episode one made my day. :)

It's also extraordinarily cute hearing Tabitha St. Germain as Milo Powell describe Wacky Duck. It'd make me smile so much if she did the voice of Wacky Duck, too, in how he says, "That's just quackers!" :)

Is Sesame Tree what we in the States call Sesame Street? Or is it an entirely different show?

All the same it is so neat seeing character similarities. Makes you feel special when some other character pops up that makes you feel like yours is just a teeny tiny bit more recognizable. In our case adorable, too. :)

I'd honestly like to write a Wacky Duck comic. Though I probably would pull it off better if I had Yosh somehow get into the comic. "We're just quackers!" ;)

Sesame Tree was the Northern Irish version of the Sesame Street franchise - it only lasted for two years, and Archie was only in the second, but he was a lot of fun to watch! ^.^

A Yosh comic would be even better, of course! Yosh is a lot cuter and cuddlier than that wacky other duck! *happy hugs*

I couldn't draw the Yosh comic but I know I could write something to be like a comic. Perhaps a few short stories about how he and his pals get into misadventures by just being their jovial selves. :)

I so wish Pocket Dragon Adventures would be still on TV somewhere. It seems a lot of the cute, imaginative, fun, non-violent shows only last a year or two before they go poofers. :( The only one that has remotely resembled or inspired my work that has lasted is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Though [i]Dragon Tales[/i[ did have a good run. :)

I'd like to make a little story about Wacky Yosh. I'm sure it'd be a blast thinking of so many ways Yosh could go about being zany with his pals while spewing out an endless stream of corny, yet fun, one liners. :)

While I have you I want to apologize for not following up with any of your recent journals. I know you have to had posted some life updates and falling back on yours makes me upset at myself for being an absent friend. Hopefully I'll get my quack together here soon. At least I now am more motivated after weeks of being in a depressive slump. Ugh. I loathe when I get that way.

Oh no, don't feel bad about being slow with responses. Life happens, and you shouldn't feel compelled to comment unless you want to do it.

What I'm hoping to do since making a solid plan is start going back through some journals I've regretfully missed. I'd copy them into a Word document, have my screen reader read them, and then comment.

I always think back on how you once mentioned in a comment how you either can predict when they are going to happen or how they tend to work. So I've used that knowledge you've shared to be more self aware of how I share what I do for I don't ever want to seem like I'm eternally angry or depressed. :)
