I actually thought of WoW first, to be honest, but I looked it up and saw it was indeed the game you specified. Though I also admit I didn't bother actually checking what it stood for. I can be so selective with I notice.
Anyway, great picture. Very well drawn and quite the interesting setup. Always liked the idea of a spider wrapping a victim up in it's webs then tickling their feet.

Defenders of the Ancient(s). It's a Modification of the strategy game Warcarft 3 (?) where instead of controling an entire army you only control one single "hero". This mod has caused a new series of games named "MOBA"s (Massive Online Battle Arena) to appear and spread out on the internet.
Defense of the Ancients = DotA. Hat als mod für Warcraft 3 angefangen und wurde beliebt genug um sein eigenes spiel zu werden. Ist ein sogenanntes multiplayer online battle arena (Moba). Die Steuerung ist ähnlich wie bei spielen wie Diabolo oder Torchlight. Meistenst ist es ein 5 gegen 5 wo jeder vor rundenbeginn sich einen der vielen Helden auswählt (wie die beidem im Bild hier). Ziel ist es die gegnerische Basis (ancients) zu zerstören.
Ganz nettes Spiel aber die Ganzen mobas haben ne relativ toxische community.
