If anyone wants #2 I'll polish it up (at the moment, the full-res has lil gaps here and there without color, and bleeding over the lines). Just offer something if you want it (paypal or maybe even trade for another adoptable/character).

It doesn't matter if we know eachother or not. I ask ~$5 or something if you're doing paypal? Do whatever. I don't have a use for #2 other than treating it like a background character in the Somaverse. Maybe someone else can give it a nicer home ;w;

for coloring the first one I was listening to this on loop instead of being in my usual c o m p l e t e silence

for the second one, I generated a palette and used that for guidance. I just added a color for the ears/pawpads/spikes and dulled the yellow a tiny bit, so it wasn't a 100% true-to-palette practice.

I mildly characterized them as I was coloring.

#1 struck me as being named something along the lines of Chuffa, who lives in a colder region that gets a lot of snow ("chuffa" comes from the "ch-ch-ch" sound of snow crunching underfoot, and they have light colored paws). They'd function as a good hunter, because they probably came up with a technique of burying themselves with snow and lying in-wait with their arms exposed, ready to ambush prey. They're a smart cookie with a few cubs, who they spend their free time nannying. They're biologically male but wouldn't refer to themselves as "he/him/his" (they'll still respond to male wording, but they see themselves as neutral) (their community members know to use neutral pronouns, but outsiders don't).

#2 seems like they'd be named something like Noshi or Hasha. It'd probably live in a seaside environment, since most of the red-colored Soma live in those regions, and orange is just a variation of the red fur. I'm not sure what its job would be-- maybe jewelry (or other trinket) making? Perhaps a fur dying business? But by all means, if you want it, you don't have to keep any of this.

I just have a way-too big soft spot for the dark-colored Soma (I never want to let them go, so I'm letting myself keep one this time ❤=w=;; ).
