Everythings Blue in this World: Neko Sei
This is a drawing of my old fursona Neko Sei. This was done with Prisma Colors *SQUEE!* *hugs prisma color box tightly* I wanted to express heart break and disappointment in the world. The wings are represents a balance between right and wrong... a living yin and yang.

I suck at the whole good/bad thing. Like, really bad. I can almost always see good points on all sides and it makes me indecisive. Hate that.
On one hand, there is something to be said for being able to draw everything the same over the course of years. Take
flinters for example. I've been watching him for ten years or so, and his style hasn't changed much (though since his fursona changed from a pony to a 'roo, you have to look at things more generally.) This can be desirable if you're already making nice art, which I think you do.
On the other hand, it's good to refine and evolve your technique. This is what I believe I see. The construction of a character in your drawings seems to be similar going from here to your present stuff. Your proportions and body styles haven't changed much, but smaller things like eyes and the like have been tweaked. I think that shows you've still been learning, and as far as I'm concerned, learning is always a good thing.
So. Yeah. I think it's a pretty OK thing, I guess :p

I try to constantly evolve in my art, striving for that next level. I just hope the base style that everything is evolving from is good ^_^
there are still alot of things I want to get better at, but as with all things that will take time and self education. I am a big fan of learning, and I hope that I never learn everything... because that would just get boring *thinking*
